N9TE
Love the color. Although Bs look pretty decent with the 5mph bumpers, they really look best with the older chrome bumpers. Spent a fair amount of time in a B at one time. A well sorted B is a surprisingly nice highway cruiser.
bryancohnracing
Pretty nice '73 model if I know my bumper overriders. A buddy and I did a Rover 3.5 conversion into his B while we were in high school. Used an MGC hood to clear the carb/air filter. We were such hacks back then! andrethx
seen in the parking lot of my local home improvement center...it's a '76 2002... chatted with the owner, that's not the original color (it's a color from early bmw/mini coopers, so it's all in the family)...car has a roll bar (you can see a bit of it in the second picture), sparco seats and seriously modded engine -- dual downdraft webers, custom radiator, etc. i asked the guy if he raced, he said not anymore, except for the occasional canyon run... andrethx
P.s is that your x5 next it andre? not mine. if i drove a bmw, it wouldn't be an SUV. i see this car every morning as i drop my daughter off at her bus stop. it's a ferrari mondial 8: it's a beautiful car, but look at all of that stuff on the pavement (and on the hood!)...it's parked on the street, under a pine tree. who does that? andré
pushgo
What shame to let such a gorgeous car be negliected like that. Must be the owners beater lol
andrethx
some odds and ends. this first item is from a few months ago, just found it again in my phone. it's a bmw 1-series M coupe (had to look that up to get it right)...seen on the 10 freeway heading east towards downtown LA: saw this last week at the gas station, first fisker karma i've seen up close: love the wheels: sometimes, you do find out what's holding up traffic: a toyota rav4 having a bad day: lastly, a couple of items from the california vanity-plate department: andré
pushgo
I love the m series. One of my clients has a carbon black one 6 speed stick and got to take it for a spin, WOWIE what an incredible vehicle! that last vanity plate probably belongs to an 96 year old lady lol

Reminds me alot of the BMW coupe from the early 60's: http://img.infocoche...pe_CS-001_1.jpg They both are beautiful cars. Thanks for posting this. andrethx
sorry for the terrible photos -- i took these with my phone -- but check it out, a bricklin! seen parked on westwood boulevard near UCLA...saw it last night while picking up some take-out food.... car was flawless, except for the headlight ( )...though the rear 3/4 photo looks oddly distorted.... andré

norcal505
Hey the 10! That reminds of this summer when I was crashing at my roommates house in B.H. and visiting my GF in Pasadena. andrethx
May I join the fun? well, sure, but many of your pics are of peugeots -- while always welcome, dangerously on-topic. this is the off-topic section. Where about LA do you reside Andre? i live in west LA, just west of century city, south of UCLA: andré
norcal505
I love that area. I was spending in SM, and drove all around LA for some good time in June and July, while I was living in Diamond Bar. I cant really stand the Tehrangeles Vibe, but they've got some good joints in the Village and SM/Marina Del Ray are truly beautiful. I'm gonna be permanently staying in San Diego going forward after this year until the end of my undergraduate schooling, and then hopefully settling in the LA Area. I love the Bay Area, but just too much has changed for me up here, and there is too much that I don't wanna look back on/get involved with. Beside, I've got too many things (ie: cars) that I can no longer keep at my parents' house, which is growing smaller as the family is growing up. How long have you lived in CA? Bean
They went to all that trouble and didn't even fit the euro version of that headlight. Cool as that is - euro lights would make it look even better. I love stuff like that. Rabin

norcal505
There are quite a few of these running around the SF Bay area. There's one in the town where my parents live (Alameda Island) and I also saw a few up in Piedmont.
