  3. and it asks 35w or 55w, which of those? and the hid harness, did you need to that to install? or is that something for newer cars (the error code eliminator and H1/H7 adapter cables im sure arent applicable for us) thanks for the help!
  4. i want to order myself a set of those HID lights - what options/bulbtype/etc did you tick off on the site?
  5. it was blue, wasnt it? the whole car i mean. i feel like i remember that. i found this on google: im thinking maybe a 405 grille might work with some cutting...but maybe its not tall enough to fill the 505 front opening. and then bean and me were talking about a custom sunken honeycomb style grille, see the exterior mods section

    Oh my

just told gf our 505 is "top shelf, baby. top shelf." she's still laughing...
  7. well, it was a go (heard back from seller, it was gonna be 40 bucks shipping for me)....then bidding went wild in the last 2 minutes haha. i want one badly, but not over a hundred bucks badly. the search continues! thanks for finding that though, andrethx, i appreciated the shout out.
  8. shoot, i didnt even know there was a difference between 83 and 84 interiors.
  9. k, msg'd him THANK YOU FOR FINDING THAT!!! might just be coolest christmas present this year haha from what i see on the auction page, i think he only takes checks...hmm.
  10. oh my god. (also, i wish i checked the board earlier!!!!)
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-Peugeot-405S-MI-16-Sport-Wagon-/170739563558?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item27c0defc26 Also, that 505 v6 that a lady is selling for cheap (think i saw it posted on craigslist and yahoo pug list) is now on ebay classifieds
  12. hmmm. peugeots i know of burgundy diesel (lookin pretty worn, but still driven) is usually parked a couple blocks over from me theres a black v6 or turbo sitting in a parking lot corner 1 block from me (owner left a note on my windshield once, we chatted, he's an old guy and just has the pug sitting there for maybe 2-3 years now i forget) used to see the blue v6 that was on ebay a lil while ago - either at ramsey peugeot or on the nj highways and then the half dozen or so sitting at ramsey peugeot oh, and theres a wagon on the upper west side near columbia u. i seen 2 or 3x
  13. hold the phone - theres heating elements in the seatBACK as well as the seat lap??? o lord. adding this to my list of things to fix....
  14. youre really spoiling your 505, you know that...haha
  15. i second the "taking car to a 2nd mechanic" thing. Heres a list of mechanics who know their way around peugeots http://myplace.frontier.com/~peugeot/mechanics as for donuts and rockfords....im all for those! but he may make something worse if the suspension is in bad shape already.
  16. ok, not so great, i think... http://forums.24hoursoflemons.com/viewtopic.php?pid=116867 like, wow.
  17. yeah i think the logistics of the group buy killed us, which was sad, cuz you did a lot of legwork on that (i was one of the guys going "WOO YEAH ADAPTERS!" too heh. i was just searching for 4x140 wheels/adapters again cuz it had been a while since last i looked into it, on the web. this site was definitely new, because the first hits i came across last time i searched were messages on subie offroad forums - this time around, again i was finding post threads on their forums, but it was them mentioning this site. (and also, scorpio wheels - google "scorpio subaru wheels" - they make a neat looking rim for the subes, but its only 14"). so adapter kings and scorpio seemed new (threads on the subie forums were from the past 4 months). im still doing some due diligence on them, best ive found so far: some pro-touring guys used their stuff, but i dont take too much comfort in that considering those cars (not all, but the ones i saw in the thread!) didnt look like they are driven further than the local cruise in and back home, with maybe one short tire chirp somewhere in between. the subie guys havent tried them yet from what ive read so far (i think for them, its not such a mechanical undertaking to swap the 4x140 hubs for whatever the other more common subie pattern is) good news tho, i found a post on the lemons boards - that could be promising, cuz thats a good bit of abuse being put on the adapters....im about to leave work, will post when i get home again
  18. hey check it out... http://shop.adapterkings.com/4-Lug-to-4-Lug-larger-than-135mm-or-55-4-lug-to-4-lug-7-plate.htm?productId=40

  20. dude, more http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/cto/2694398042.html http://newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/2649110975.html and this one doesnt help your cause, but jeez, it looks like a damn steal. http://maine.craigslist.org/cto/2701084492.html
  21. might be a long shot, but i did see this...they specifically mention a wagon, maybe call and see if it didnt sell? http://newyork.craigslist.org/que/cto/2692417153.html
  22. fellow nj'er here - i know of some sedans just sitting, but no wagons come to mind. Ramsey Peugeot has MAYBE 2 wagons sitting, but i think both are spoken for. if someone could do an sr swap and keep p/s and AC, that would be sweet for a daily driver.
  23. of course i have. i just wanna pretend i didnt. lol
