N9TE
Sorry for these non-stop questions. But, how do we turn the camshaft in an assembled head? I tried using a strap wrench. Thought about a big pipe wrench. Nowhere to put a socket... Ideas? Thanks,
Bean
Is the timing chain sprocket on it? Rabin
N9TE
No. Head off. Would that matter? Pry against a tooth?
Bean
I'd install the sprocket and then use the holes inside the sprocket to rotate it. Rabin
keebs
Put on the the sprocket and a pair of gloves, or run the bolts in without the sprocket and use a pry bar.
N9TE
Holes too small and nothing to pry against. Also, bolt holes for cam sprocket too far apart (1/3) so prybar wouldn't fit. Used pipe wrench on 'extra' cam. That worked. Thanks,
