norcal505
Been in the library since noon and every few hours I've been indulging myself in some very fine European Automotive Classifieds.. Enjoy: "Euro version" of my own car? http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=222917052&cd=634883380280000000 If I recall correctly, previously owned by a Morracan gentleman on the French club 505 forums http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=215206006&cd=634904615480000000 Et le piece d'resistance.... http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=194855509&cd=634904703530000000 sina
Bean
That early 505 Turbo for $10K Euro is absolutely stunning... Nice to see the prices climbing too! Rabin
norcal505
^ word. I think i forgot that our cars are also growing scarce in the motherland. norcal505
Haha never seen a Dangel four door before! This is sick! http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/403938184.htm?ca=12_s

She mentioned moving to France for a year, and I suggested buying a nice series 1 505 turbo while there as our DD so that I could bring it back with us at the end. She didn't blink - so I assume that was consent. With prices climbing like that however - might make more sense to take a nice US spec one to sell so I can buy a euro spec one. Sweet 4x4 Dangel sedan too... Very cool indeed. Rabin
Mike T
Sounds like a fun gig if you can drop your own job for a year. I would love to get a Peugeot RCZ Asphalte (the 260 HP one) and bring it back, but that would not be possible, sadly. Second choice for me would be a 405 T16 but it would need a container of spare parts to keep it going!
norcal505
some new ones... http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/peugeot-505-gti-kiel/169899606.html?lang=en&pageNumber=1&action=topInCategory&__lp=1&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=searchNetGrossPrice&makeModelVariant1.makeId=19300&makeModelVariant1.modelId=19&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariantExclusion1.searchInFreetext=false&damageUnrepaired=ALSO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&export=ALSO_EXPORT http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/peugeot-505-peugeot-505-gtinjection-herne/173776836.html?lang=en&pageNumber=1&__lp=1&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=searchNetGrossPrice&makeModelVariant1.makeId=19300&makeModelVariant1.modelId=19&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariantExclusion1.searchInFreetext=false&damageUnrepaired=ALSO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&export=ALSO_EXPORT btw, a little OT, but I'm starting applications for studying abroad for next year. amongst my top choices is a university in paris. if i get accepted, i'm considering selling my other car (an old bmw) to fund buying a euro-spec 505 Turbo to buy and bring back. this of course is all hypothetical, however if i could estimate the costs in my price range, then i will probably do it. i would be looking at potentially importing an 1989 505 turbo at the newest. Bean
I love that "Evo" body kit - but a bit of a waste on that non-turbo 505! Cool news about the possibility of overseas study - that would absolutely rock. Good luck with it! Rabin
norcal505
Lol you guys remember this one? Looks like it found its way in the Holland is now for sale again, with the respectively higher price... USDM ftw?
norcal505
And this one, just for Rabin - the real deal holy field. And for this BBS steering wheel, the E30 guys would most certainly loose their shit http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/peugeot-505-turbo-injection-evolution-wallenhorst/170519075.html?lang=de&pageNumber=1&__lp=1&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=creationTime&sortOption.sortOrder=DESCENDING&makeModelVariant1.makeId=19300&makeModelVariant1.modelId=19&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariantExclusion1.searchInFreetext=false&negativeFeatures=EXPORT
Bean
That rear bumper set up is SO much cleaner than the 89' rear bumper that it really cleans up the cars looks. Even that evo body kit looks SO much better with it. The 89' FRONT bumper is perfection though - so mated with the rest of the kit would via for my all-time favorite looking 505 (very close to the series 1 euro 505 turbo) I need to find a way to get the parts for that euro rear bumper. Craig P of Peugeot-L sent me a link to a Chinese firm offering the bumpers for sale along with some cool grills - might have to investigate further for sure: http://www.ecvv.com/company/ximalaya/products-map.html Rabin
norcal505
Rabin - if and when you decide to buy some of that stuff, please let me know! I will most certainly love to get in on some of that goodness (we'll see how the build quality is later)
norcal505
BTW - I think rangga(?) has the same grille with the integrated fogs... also given his proximity to china, he probably bought his from them.
Bean
Finding a way to get it shipped here for decent costs will be the issue. There's a LOT of stuff coming over though so hopefully it's not too bad if the company has good connections. As for build quality - that's easy to fix with a little time and effort in the fit and finish and it should be fine. If I make any progress I'll definitely be posting as it looks like they may have a minimum order of 6. Rabin
