d00zer
We got another set of spacers manufactured by a company here in Sweden named TCL-AB. Sent in both front and rear hub and they manufactured the spacers after the hubs. They made a spacers that is uniform so it both fits both rear and front. Specification: 4x140 to 4x114.3 CB 67.1mm M12x1.25 studs Spacer are 25mm thick They have added the spacers as special article in there webshop: https://spacer.se/produkt/paket-4st-25mm-4-140-x-4-114-3-67-1/ Price is 3400 SEK (315 USD / 292 EUR) We have removed the re-drilled hubs and using spacers instead now. Bean
Thanks for the update D00zer! What wheel and tire fitment are you running with the adapters? And did you go with adapters for the offset and wheel availability? Any updates on how it’s running or pictures of the car? Looks great! d00zer
@Bean Thanks! We have tested with 205/50/R17 ET40 and 205/55/R16 ET30 same width 7". The main reason was the simplicity and that they could make a spacer with CB 67.1mm (which open up for more options for rims). If I have the budget I will go for the JR-Wheels JR6: https://jr-wheels.com/category/jr6 (16"/7" ET35 Silver Machined Face). We put the old adapters and wheels on the running 505 (205/50/R17 ET40) now and it works fine
d00zer
Have done a bit of body, repaired rust, sanded and filled. The old Mi16 side skirts have been removed, and we are trying some that have been fabricated in sheet steel instead. My father made an jigg to test widen some steel wheels (banding). Bean
Side skirts look similar to the ones they did on the 89+ 505’s we got in North America. Widened wheels look great - hopefully the outer bead seat is still smooth? How wide are they now? Rabin
Goce
Why did you get 4x114 wheel adapters, that size is also rare, logicly i would expected 4x100 or 4x108 to keep it in peugeot family, any reason?
d00zer
@Goce Main reason that is that we have rims that has that bolt pattern. The rims i got my eyes on also has that bolt pattern and 67.1mm CB. Here is the link to the spacers: https://spacer.se/produkt/paket-4st-25mm-4-140-x-4-114-3-67-1/
