N9TE
I haven't seen this before. I always heard a N9T cam is a N9T cam is a N9T cam. It looks to be a front lobe of some sort. I bought the cam (NIB) from Phillipe Brunell at least 10 years ago. Any ideas? WIll it clear? Can I just ignore it?
Bean
Looks like it'd just be pressed on, but curious if it's from something else like a Murena non-turbo version of the same motor assuming the lobe drives something. Or - is it a balancer of sorts? Doesn't look like it sticks out much farther, so it should clear - but a quick check with the top cover should confirm. N9TE
Could be a balancer. I don't know what type of accessory it would be driving. I'll test fit today.
Brenyw
Mechanical fuel pump drive cam, you can leave on or remove, not needed on the N9T with electric fuel pump. Brendan
Bean
I've never seen the carbed version of the motor, and it seemed a bit odd to run the pump off the end of the cam which seems like an odd place to do it... Bit odd to drive a mechanical fuel pump off an overhead cam at all really... Rabin
