  1. So a buddy of mine just bought a fully cherried 1991 Saab turbo SPG he's wanting to have a set if 19 inch BBS rims. Upon sharing his excitement of his new toy I was eye balling his lug spacing. May sound stupid but would the 900 rims fit on a 505? Haven't measured lug spacing, back spacing etc
  2. Well as far as I know mine are the only two that I see running around town. The shop that I take them to for maintance, theres a peugeot mechanic there btw, love and admire my cars. In fact the owner was telling me not too long ago that his first brand new car when "he made it" was a '84 Black 505 STI five speed with "Taupe" leather. What a great combo. I told him I was Very familiar with that car. My parents bought the same car and then 2 years later traded it for the '86 Turbo I bought 10 years ago and now drive. Every time I go there to drop my car off for maintanence we swap Pug stories You should posts some pics of your car Horhay
  3. Welcome to the forum Steffen! You will NOT be dissappointed with your new car! I have and '86 Turbo and LOVE IT! I just had my exhaust replaced with a newer more power efficent one, MaganFlow. I also just recently purchased an '88 V6 with only 44,0006 Original miles on it. Having some general maintanence done to it and replace a few things on it that need to be replaced and it will be road worthly for many many miles to come! Looking forward to seeing mores pics of your car! Phil
  4. Andre Congrats man! Despite the tired paint and tattered wheels, the car i's still sweet! I'm certain it will look fantastic once you're done with it.
  5. AAAHHH...She's just barely broken in. when you say "roughly" does that mean the odometer doesnt count anymore?
  6. Rob how many miles dies your car have?
  7. Thanks again Bryan for all of your help! I get the car Friday afternoon around 12. i will post pics of it, before and after all the clean up and slight restoration. I feel like a kid on the Eve Of Christmas.
  8. when the handle is released the left side releases but not all the way and makes the car feel lugged down and heavy. I had to move it out of my drive way and into the garage.
  9. I have been having some issues with my parking brake ceasing up. Anybody know what I can do to release it and fix this problem. Its intermitted.
  10. Rob, Yes I still have the Cayanne. and loving it as well. I have using that to transport my fun gear: mountain bikes, snow boards, and soon wake boards. And also the long trips outta town with friends as it can a whole lot more than the PUG and bimmer. I do take the other 2 outta town frequently. I don't have any pics of the cayenne that I can upload right now. My external hard drive crapper out on me and lost all my good pics But will up load when I have a chance
  11. P.S. Rabin, moms recovery was great. Her stroke was nearly 8 years ago. But like i said she regained much of her strength except the muscles in her left leg. So she says the trade off is driving an auto. pops bought her a '08 535i fully decked out. she throughly enjoys it. so do I when I get a chance to drive it.
  12. Hey bryan, Do you know if you have a working central locking accutator for the drivers sides still available. and I need to send you the difference of shipping for the other parts. I will do this afternoon. thanks Bryan Phil
  13. I love them both. Slugging through city traffic in the PUG can at times be a chore with respect to the turbo lag. I would love to try and reduce it. I am wanting to put a new after market performance exhaust on it. I have looking at magnaflow. what are your thought Bean? However, to answer your question with regards to perfomance. I think the both of them are damn close in performance on the open highway. For the PUG only being a tiny 2.2 4 banger. it make some serious good use of the engine. fit and finish. interior wise. I would actually believe it or not gravitate to the design ques of PUG. I love how design of the interior is. the Bimmer is somewhat frumpy in some of the layout control. Niggle Niggle, Yammer Yammer. Every car has its pros and cons. I always loved the both of the cars when my parents bought them. and now they are ALL mine
  14. I bought my '88 M5 from my parents. they didnt have any intentions of selling it til my dad came home with a '10 M5. so I got to buy it from them for a real steal! I trade off between this and the PUG. I mostly drive the PUG though. oops i thought this one uploaded. My mom had a stroke a couple of years ago and she always thought that she would get strong enough to drive a stick. but her muscles in her left leg cant sustain using the clutch. the peugeot and BMW were both her cars. Yes folks mama loved to get up on the rubber. she still drives. However she has to drive an auto. She has a 535i. Dad has the M5
  15. This is my other daily driver: 1988 M5 bought it from my parents almost 2 years. Love it. and drive mostly the peugeot. /Users/phillipgago/Desktop/Picture 6.png/Users/phillipgago/Desktop/Picture 7.png
  16. I like it! What are the stats in lowering your car?
  17. Very cool! So which car are you driving? I say take pug. there are a Ton if STI's in that town. Had a fella ask me if I wanted 2 sell my turbo to him. I giggled and thanked him kindly but my cars nit for sell. This dude rolled in a goregous '60 XK convert! I wished I had a camera cuz this thing was cherry! British racing Green over camel tan leather.
  18. I love SD too! When economy took a dump a few years ago i was one of many casualties of unemployment si I decided to start my own business and go back to school for another degree: UCLA. sports nutrition. Did u apply there? what is your major?
  19. Rob, Your car still looks damn GREAT even with no having a new paint job. I can't wait to see it when you get it all painted. Side note. Where are you going to college at?
  20. Bean, I think i saw another thread somewhere when he was having problems with black smoke coming from exhaust, I THINK he mentioned it was a 5spd????
  21. YAAAAY! I had a '88 V6 and loved it. sadly it was hit and totaled. thank god I was in that car cuz they are made like TANKS and I walked away with out a scratch. Congrats my friend!
  22. will the 225-45-17 fill in the wheel gap more than what I am currently running: 205-55-15? Just currious.
