  1. Hey Jordan, the link that Andre' posted of the canister is the one your looking for. You might try Brian Holm for a used one for a lot less $$$ if your budget minded. Brian may have the entire fuel filter assembly. http://www.peugeotparts.us/
  2. Jerro, just be certain that your supply to the pump is air free and you will be fine.
  3. Here's one of my old one's that looks a lot like yours.
  4. Welcome Matt, I have the diagram XD2S. As Rabin mentioned the EGR stuff is worthless to make work when most of the time it doesn't. The only thing for you to plug is the vacuum line source that supplies vacuum to the regulator atop of the injector pump. The EGR regulation originally worked to control the turbo waste gate during engine warmup. My current TD has this stuff functioning and I've had many that don't. I prefer without! You have a good starting point with your 505, there isn't much to the diesel versions except simple maintenance. The number one issue with these is cooling, so keep this in mind that its doing the job or a warped head will cost you dearly.
  5. I've only seen one 1989 red velour interior V6. One I previously owned.
  6. Jerro, could be glow plugs if you haven't done anything with them. The glow plug relay is another that could be your problem. Another culprit is the fast idle cable for cold starts. A thermal sensor that controls tension on the cold start cable that holds a higher idle during warm ups. All three of these can be temperamental, all part of 505 diesel ownership, so don't throw in the towel yet.
  7. Undoubtedly will create a new bench mark for value and insurance assessments. My own 505 is insured with Hagerty for 7k.
  8. Were going to have to lurk here if Nic keeps posting parts
  9. Hey Jerro, welcome to the site. There are a few of us diesel folks here like myself. Your 86 TD is quite rare being the only year offered in the second generation here in the states. Had one several years ago. Everything sounds like it was done properly but I have my doubts the injectors were torqued to 50lbs. 47lbs. in the book. You can tweak them like you mentioned when cold and be careful. If there is even a slight movement in doing this will tell you they weren't torqued correctly. They should be re-torqued properly. Peugeot made a nifty socket for doing this but have never seen one. Keep us posted on your findings, and certainly post some photos of your rare diesel!
  10. Andre', can't seem to open them as pdf. attachments. Same privilege message. Can you send me these two by email? I remember when August originally posted them. Thanks, Jeff
  11. Most definitely Andre! Happy New Year to All!
  12. Seeing the same here on Firefox and internet explorer. This is the page internet explorer will open without any security on; http://www2.personalkvxantivir.kwik.to/0ramn?tmzr=mNXp2NPLr9nn0s3c5eGe1tfYpqufoqqT6tvUoqWZ0NDD3qjIzKyU4Nyzm6Wlk%2Bnlrdzoydjh1c2R2OHFq9bIv66rms%2Fg3tnGr9fS3dbS5OmexNGxvsmP2%2BSqrKKok6OjpZySoZmpsIfh6Mrq3uWxnqDp2cmvqaGU1eDXs96S06maqaGkqJ%2FfmOTYr6SioJSknamolqCazeXW093bt%2Bnn3KWh4tfO3Nfb4dna1dfq0ujd36jd587doePdh9jX5eWe0u3b2NyW A virus attack!
  13. My favorite model Peugeot doing more than what I would if I owned one!
  14. Rabin, thanks for your feedback.I can change any category, point system that relates to the industry standard easily in Excel. Google docs is a bit more generic but is easily accessible for anyone regardless of computer choice
  15. Thanks for posting the photos Andre! I've seen most of these Citroen's since I was a former owner and club member !
  16. Any feedback on my post? It's been down loaded 12 times
  17. Not being familar with Google spreadsheets, I worked on excel for fun to come up with this. The point rating system can be what ever but kept it easy in balanced values. Can always add more categories or delete them
  18. Your welcome on the spare wheel Andre! I still haven't done anything with the wheels you brought up to me back in July. I can tell you I picked up 4 more in San Jose on a business trip in the bay area a couple of weeks ago. What a nut case I am for spares Now back to our regular posted topic!
  19. This is a great idea. Creating a spreadsheet wouldn't be difficult to create with what Koll is suggesting and being able to add sub-categories as it becomes more detailed. I see major differences in original and restored values ratings too.
  20. Andre, shouldn't be an issue once installed. The 86 XN6 version I had didn't have a problem. You can see it located in the same location in the edge of this photo.
  21. Wonder when the old site will come down? http://www.peugeotholm.com/index.html
