christophe4559
I'm looking for the pushing rod. Placed between the foot pedal and theTransmitter(Issuer) of clutch. Thank you !
Goce
The push rod looks easy to be made, as a design seems bad design, you can use a heim joint and a rod, and that should outlast the car.
Bean
Hi Christophe, I fixed mine a few years back - no room for a heim joint Goce... It's worked beautifully ever since. Rabin

christophe4559
Did you have the mensurations off the original pushing rod ? diamètre , tall , ....
Bean
Hi Christophe, I used 1/4" steel round stock, which matched the 1/4" oil impregnated sintered bronze bushings perfectly. I used the old rod as the pattern so there was no need to take measurements. Used a vise to clamp as I bent the rod, careful to protect it from jaw marks. christophe4559
okayyy ! So you use a new steel rod ! And how can you Manufacture the kneecap at the end ? My problem is in fact that i haven't the old busching rod ! I lose it ! And one more question 1/4 means 1.4 inch, then means 3.556 centimeter ? Bean
Hi Christophe, 1/4" steel round stock = 6.35mm diameter rod. 6 or 7 mm rod should work fine, but use whatever fits the bushing you use/find. Not sure which end you mean - I used a vise to hold the rod and I bent it 90 degrees. The end that goes into clutch master I ground to a smooth rounded tip. christophe4559
Ok it's clear ! thank you so much. For the end of the rod i mean "machining a ball". So how tall is the busching rod ? his emplitude ?
Bean
Hi Christophe, You can measure easily how long the rod should be - hold clutch pedal up and then measure to the inside of the clutch master. Rabin

Bean
Rod should fit snug, and maybe just pushing a little little bit so it's in tension, but not loose to where it can move around. Link just takes me to a main page - no details that show me anything. Rabin

Bean
The machining the narrow part isn't really needed... I haven't been on the French site in a while - I need to spend some time there and get caught up. Rabin
