Stewart
I thought some of you Francophiles might enjoy this oddity. It is a Toyota Sports 800 from 1968. It is a 2 cyl. twin carb 800cc, barn stormer. Air cooled and rear wheel drive. It uses an engine design based upon a Panhard twin cylinder. I've just overhauled the carbs before we start on a new engine for it. Plenty of fun, noise and feel wise, racing ones were rumored to travel to 100 mph! I drove this one to 60 mph no problem power wise but she was fairly cutting the breeze stability wise. Can man live at this speed? The tiny little alloy box on the back of the powerplant is a 4 speed gearbox. Wheel base is just short of 2 meters! The man who drives it is 1.88 meters tall and fits in easily. Mike T
Very cool car! Although a Panhard CD is cooler!

Bean
That car looks minty! It's amazing how simple and pure it is, and that only an air cooled 800cc twin is pushing it! The hot rodder in me instantly thought a 13B rotary in it would make it a weapon... Car in that shape has to stay pure though - its gorgeous.
