paraic
I have a major issue with leaving my headlights on accidentally and then coming out to a dead battery a few hours later. it has happened often enough that I am tired of it. One of the problems is that the car doesn't beep if I step out with the lights on. It beeps only for the seat belt when I start the car. Is there a way to: 1. get it to beep when the lights are on when I leave the car - should it do that normally? 2. attach the control of the lights to the ignition so that its auto on and off with the use of the car thanks Paraic
N9TE
This with your V6 car? I thought the turbo beeped when you opened the door with the lights on and car off. That's how it works on all 3 turbo I've owned.

Bean
Do you happen to use a slotted ignition key by chance? As for something to turn your lights off - something like this is mandatory in Canada for cars newer than 1992: http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/BulbsSwitchesRelays/DrivingLights/PRD~0204001P/Daytime+Running+Light+System.jsp?locale=en Rabin
pushgo
My V6 beeps when I have left my lights on. perhaps the beeper is no longer working. I had this happen with my turbo. I got a slavage part and replaced it.
