I'm going this weekend most likely to check out a burgandy 89' 505 Turbo Sedan, a/t though. We'll see how it goes! I do hear, btw, that the automatic models have a torque lock-up converter, what is that? and is it a manual tranny simulator? (kinda like tip?) As for the lock up converter - Torque converter It has nothing to do with tiptronic, it's just a function of the torque converter. Lock up refers to the time that it engages solid.
