Battery Icon when Brake Pedal Depressed

As I mentioned in another thread, I have a bit of a weird issue. Namely, if I turn on my headlights and depress the brake pedal, the battery icon in the instrument panel glows dimly. If I turn on the turn signal while still depressing the brake pedal, it then glows dimly, brighter, dimly, brighter, etc in time with the turn signal.

Any thoughts on what might cause this? My first instinct is to check the grounds in the lights, but not because that makes sense, just because it's the first thing I thought of. Perhaps the bulbs are of the wrong type?

Any help would be appreciated.

What's your charging voltage during all this?  Should be over 14V at idle.

Could be dirty grounds, bad battery cables, or your alternator could be weak.

There's also a power distribution block on the positive cable close to the battery that can cause issues.
