ComfortEagle
Looking for some information. I would like to put power steering on my 504. Not even sure if they came with power steering. It is a really clean 1974 with only 88k.
SRDT
They ended production in 2005 so yes some came with power steering, and even back in the day. You should also take a look at 604 and 505 steering racks as these cars are pretty close in a lot of aspects. Using an electric pump can be a good solution if you can't source the correct pump an bracket for your engine ; also using an electric setup adapted to the steering column may be the easy path as you don't need to hunt for old Peugeot parts at all. Bean
Sorry - didn't see this posted! Welcome to the forums ComfortEagle. 504 definitely came with powersteering, but the easiest way to do it would be to use the set up off a 505 diesel. The inner tie rods will be too long, but it should be possible to modify. A power 504 rack is harder to come by - but checking venders Brian Holm in Vermont or Ukit in California might be able to get you set up.
