Bean Posted August 27, 2015 Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 Peugeot's don't use the standard T3 turbo flange on turbo gas cars despite it being a T3 turbo. SRDT Posted August 27, 2015 Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 Yes but on a diesel you don't really need hight performance gaskets due to the low EGT. The last turbo diesel 110hp with intercooler use a K16 with a special flange, same design as the later XUD turbo but with smaller T2 or K14. Bean Posted August 28, 2015 Report Share Posted August 28, 2015 Personally I much prefer steel / metal gaskets for any exhaust connection - high performance application or not. I've had no end of issues the the cheap metal composite gaskets on an old Subaru, but they ended when I used the steel turbo gaskets. Best reason of all is it's cheap, so why not use the better gasket. Odd thing to post without any other comments, so maybe the joke's on us for replying to spam...
