I'm looking to import my grandfather's Peugeot 404 1971 (he left it to me when he passed away) to New York. Once I do, I'll probably register it with the system you have here. Does anyone know how to find the VIN number on these type of cars? When I open the hood, there is a plaque to the right side with several numbers. Not sure if any of these is the VIN.
