I am starting to think this was the same eurospec car i saw on canadian autotrader a few years ago...

contacted the seller.

he says he has some more euro spec 505's as well. Four more euro spec 505's for sale, to be exact. :rolleyes:

It's a somewhat fresh import, imported in 2002.

1988 Peugeot 505 GTD Turbo

2.2 liter intercooled turbo , 5 speed transmission, runs and drives very good with great acceleration and handling.

Car was imported from France in 2002, so it has the smaller European bumpers, Euro lights, and no rust. Has a Illinois title in my name and it's licensed and insured.

The a/c blows cold and all the power windows work well.

It has just under 120,000 original kilometers on it (about 74,000 miles)

I live in Opdyke, IL , but visit family in Springfield frequently, so I could drive it down if you're serious about it.

$2,500 Serious inquiries ONLY, NO CHECKS OR OVERSEAS BUYERS

I also have 4 other 505s for sale for $1,000-$2,200

* Location: Opdyke, IL

* it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

I love the smaller bumpers, but as the 1988 505 is not 25 years old yet something irks me.

All cars imported have to adhere to us emissions and DOT crash standards. True, the 505 was a model that was sold here, but I would make sure the title is legit.

Since it was sold here the euro spec ones are easier to get ahold of.

I like the whip antenna and the small bumpers :P

I bought a parts car off that guy for the 4 speed auto trans. He lives fairly close to my brother out in the middle of nowhere.
