i think i have a non working pump out of a 84 turbodiesel

the most current info i have is in that video i haven't seen that car sense i put it in storage in jan if i had room at my house i whould have kept tinkering with it to see how far i could get with it

ahh thanks Joe people are going to think im honest now lol jkjk i cant wait to see the car come together ill have to see if i can change the owner to you in the vehicle registry and allow you to make changes to it from now on same thing with the Google doc registry that will have to be changed as well ill have to keep up on this thread often

picked up a 89 505 v6 automatic for 800 bucks with a straight body a trashed interior and some subpar wiring issues and the restore starts now it faces alot of the same issues as my 89 turbo worn steering components no A/C etc but atleast the paint is nice i have already pulled the interior and started to work

not much new to report on my car other than the fact that I have yet to repair its previous issues and now it's starting to develop more it's troublesome when you use it as a daily driver things start to fail quite often now I have no AC due to a failed compressor pump plus I'm having some sort of an engine cut out failure I'll be driving on the highway and lose power and cut from 4 cylinder is down to 3 down to two then lose all my power whatsoever my detonation light will stay on solid than my power comes back on when detionion light goes back off plus when hot when I start up I get a detonation light that stays on anytime my foot is on the gas pedal and then goes off and starts to blink when my foot is off the gas pedal and I continue to lose power I'm not even sure what's up with that right now but it's becoming impossible to drive with it now

well i live in the city and get stuck in traffic all the time so a 5 spd didn't make sense to me plus the body kit matches my 89 turbo so it made sense to me to have twins i do plan to convert the 89 turbo too 5 spd as the auto kills that turbo engine it doesnt much bother the v6 engine

I just wanna let everybody know where this car has and has ended up by what I have been told me when this car left renatas ownership it was in very nice conditiion it has spent the last few years of its life down in Napa with a dog owner who like to take his dog on it with rides in the car however the powertrain seems to have been pretty well taken care of a little bit of Dodgy looking but functioning wiring in my opinion but that is neither here nor there the car is in need of some serious interior and exterior rebuilding now and it is now in the hands of me and yes the sunroof is still working it's one of the very few things on the car that work progress to follow as well as updating my build thread

his name is hubb Johnson a good friend of mine and my cousin James who lives right of the freeway before red bluff who is the owner of the 87 turbo i traded him that car months back it is still for sale and accepting offers he also has another turbo and a few diesels and many parts between me and him me living in Roseville near sac and still an owner of 3 505s we are very heavy into them and all parts hubb had were donated to us if you whould like pm me for mine and my cousions cantact info

I may have an old stock cam laying around and maybe the cam cover as well I shall look tomorrow

you're in redding no way my cousin lives in Red Bluff and has like 6 or 7 Peugeot's I'm surprised you guys never ran into each other

hi Knox is caused by high engine temperature I would say adjust the timing but it is not adjustable on this engine are you running high octane fuel have you ran any fuel system cleaner through it I work all my 87 STX v6 my automatic model just barely passing on the knox I drove that car for a year and a half before electrical problems plagued me to sell it but I replaced it with the same year and model in blue with a5 speed manual transmission with less electrical gremlins also is your detenation lamp blinking causing it to run in limp mode or retarded timing mode?

selling a 1984 Peugeot 505 turbo diesel xD to as with 3 speed automatic Winchester grey with dark blue interior paint is faded but interior is clean dark blue leather seats have been swapped out with lighter blue GL seats in cloth heat and air works needs new fan motor bearing and probably more charge in the AC unit 1 rear window doesn't work and sunroof doesn't work but I have the replacement motor to get the rear window to work and I can fix it if necessary original California car I am the third owner no accidents clean title original plate it does leak oil as its old tires on it are good brakes are good all lights are working need it gone ASAP registration expires in May and I don't plan on renewing it as I'm working on a five speed diesel to replace it as I enjoy a manual shift car more open to offers message me on here or you can contact me at (916) 662-2616 can drive it a reasonable distance if needed
