  1. So I dropped the '88 STX. Off at Ukits for some transmission work AND preventative maintanence. Can't wait to get her home and washed and detailed so I can get her back on the road! I shall keep everyone posted!
  2. Rob, Like Rabin I too am excited to see the progress and end result to your car. It's a beauty and certain deserves to be restored. glad you have decided to keep it
  3. hello all...I managed to find a good home for my beloved turbo....
  4. Wow! What an incredible story....thank you for sharing it with us.
  5. Lol! well I'm not sure that I would do that to my pug but YES I completely agree with about the "nuff said"
  6. yes, Rabin, the car was repainted about 10 years ago. As close to the original delft blue. And Yes Andre its a shame that I need to part with it....but I'm absolutely certain that she WILL go to a good home...just maintence is something that I cant afford with going back to school and such...sometimes you need to make some sacrifices....
  7. Hi all...my car is located in Bakersfield ca. Although I'm parting with my beloved turbo, Im not leaving the peugeot fold, I have an '88 STX thats a joy to drive and for me at this point need a car that a bit easier to have as my daily driver as I'm choosing to go back to school and will be driving to UCLA 2 times a weeks and any one who has driven in la traffic knows that a stick can be a bit of a bear to contend with. Y'all can't get rid of me that easily PLUS I have had 4 speeding tickets in this car....
  8. Hello all, after months of painstakingly contemplation the time has come for me to sell my beloved 505 TURBO. In the last year I have replaced many parts: new alternator, Battery, front and rear brakes and rotors. clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. blower motor. radiator. Recently however, theres been a leak in the cooling hose that leads from the top hose to the turbo. I havent driven the car since this leak. The Body is in excellent condition: no rust or dents. the paint has some haze but the shine still has life. I have waxed it often to preserve the gloss as much as possible. It needs a new set of tires. the AC needs recharging. As a common thing the sunroof is none working. I do have some extra parts in the truck: the original radiator could be recored. ECU for the cruise conrol. ECU for the climate control. extra outside mirrors. I had hordid some extra parts when I saw them and kept them. so who buys the car will also get these few replacement parts. I need to get rid of this car soon and am really hoping to find a good home for it. Im including the link for photos. Please feel free to contact me with any questions email is [email protected] 900.00 OBO thanks! My link
  9. Wow I can't figure out if I like the Ferrari 330, the pair of mercs sl's, or the alfas. All are gorgeous
  10. I will see if I can get them, they are packed under the seat pretty snug. My buddy installed them and designed them. Had to remove both seats to mount them. I will ask him if he has dimensions. Im also running focal component speakers in front (6.5 inch woofer in kick panels, and tweeter in dash) and three way 6x9 focal coaxials in rear deck shelf behind back seat some speaker mods were also made happy with the bass and clarity of system. I didn't want to sacrifice any trunk space. I really live the idea you're planning for your syst Andre. when u get the car done I want to see it in person and a ride as well
  11. Hey Andre just a little food for thought for your sub idea I'm running two 8" ND (thin 3" thick) subs under my two front seats of my pug and the bass is good clean and perfect for that extra little bit of bump and I still have my full truck capsity to use.
  12. Those speakers look like the focal speaker system I have in my car. Can't wait see how everything looks and also hear about the sound results
  13. I may very well contacting Ikenna very soon with regards to some v6 parts.
  14. I love the m series. One of my clients has a carbon black one 6 speed stick and got to take it for a spin, WOWIE what an incredible vehicle! that last vanity plate probably belongs to an 96 year old lady lol
  15. Hummm. That's seems like a reasonable peer upgrade...I may have to look into this low cost conversion in the near future
  16. Well the engine in the STX has plenty of power, of course there's always that need to squeeze a bit more outta it. What would cost be involved with doing that mod? I didn't realize that the eagle premier used the PRV engine.
  17. WOW! I'm loving the wheel conversion! what sorts of engine mods do you have on the STX? phil
  18. Ok. Good to know guys. The two peugeots I've had have all been 5 speed sticks and have never had an auto in a Peugeot.
  19. Just curious, with good maintanence of my tranny I wonder how long the life of it would be? My car only has 44,000 miles on it and I know the previous owner kept it really well.
  20. Ok thanks Rabin. Never knew that about the revving.
  21. Trans fluid is full and still bass the look aid color not dirty. And if the engine revs it also increases with engine revs. however if I shut off the engine and restart it the sound goes away for a while and then slowly and very faintly returns. I don't know that I have to replace the battery. could low volts from a low charged battery be a contributing factor? My mechanic is on vacation so I'm trying to trouble shoot the issue myself
  22. What shame to let such a gorgeous car be negliected like that. Must be the owners beater lol
