Finally that day arrived!!! Months of hard work and frustration finely going back together.

^^^^ never had a chance to get that done so yesterday I replaced it with new Valeo unit. I also replaced both radiator hoses and driver inner C.V boot. She got nice wash as well followed by one hour engine bay detail.

End up ordering same wheel/tire combo today. I powder coated entire suspension and brakes on that same color.

Few day ago I decided to make BBQ disc blade,discada,disco,cowboy wok,plow disc cooker or what ever you want too call it. This is how far did I get so far and prior this I haven't made one before.

US MI16 got power antenna,not sure why they thought we needed it.

MBZ 300D antenna grommet fits pretty good. I recommend existing antenna hole to be trimmed for 1-2mm for perfect fit.

Let me start this :-) I've seen this bad boy today!

I'm not sure why they did it but I know for sure that VW,BMW and Volvo are using two fuel pumps as well. It could be that Motronic injection system requires it for emissions purposes. Pumps that I'm using are for 90 Golf GTI as parts stores have no clue what Peugeot is.

All US MI16's came with primer and inline fuel pumps. All US 89/90 cars came with NO ABS and only 91 cars came with ABS. My 91 Wagon S also has ABS,those ABS are small Bosch ABS units.

Thank you guise! Yeah I can't believe it got donated,previous owners must know that enthusiasts still exists and they would love too save it especially when it's still in this condition. I'm gonna contact them and try to get a full history on this one as they owned it since 2003 and it had only 40.000 back then.

We removed both mirrors so we can fit trough the gate in to he's backyard. Rear windshield is broken,some window switches are missing and sunroof dont work. Surprisingly no oil leaks (shocking face image) but this car does have undercarriage surface rust but on first glance it did not look bad at all. Paint on the roof it's little thin but way better then any of my other 405's,I think I may clean it up,service it and drive it for some time.

Copart MI16 came yesterday! I did not waste any time and was very excited to bring it back to life. Right away I noticed shade tree mechanics repairs and one of them was an auxiliary fan switch mounted right by the shift knob it self. Wire weres coming from leather shift boot :-( and mice have eaten trough injector wire number four,spark plug wires and cruise cotrol-brake pad ware sensor harness. I was expecting all of this and I brought all the tools I needed and new battery. I've done this so many times and I knew exactly which tools to bring. First we used leaf blower to get rid of mice poop and leafs then I replaced spark plug wires and make sure all ignition components were present. Next was engine oil change and I did have a good spare dipstick as this one was missing plastic top part of it. Next was fuel components,there was no gas in the tank and all relays and fuses were present,however fuel pumps did not make any sign of life but I did expect this. I knew I had all the parts needed in my parts car but I couldn't fined in tank pump so I went to Napa and I got one for $39 and one foot of 3/8 house. I replaced fuel pumps and she fired right up! Engine did idle very hight and I found more shade tree mechanics repairs :-( a lot of RTV on intake boot and PCV pipe for breather and idle motor hoses. I quickly replaced boot and hoses with very good used units and gave it another go but then it started to idle surge a lot. In the same box where hoses were at I found idle control valve and this one made here idle like a champ! My friend could not believe I got her running so quick with out straggling and any problems. Later on I remember that my in tank pump was at Nikola's house and I did have extra new one in my garge. I got extra one from Rock auto when I got those two MI16's from Washington. I think it would be harder to add pictures as not a lot of Peugeot owners are willing or know how to share this information. I would like to have a 405 registry space where I can only add this information and leave this one to discuss.
