  1. I know it is over 8 years old but still maybe this part is in some warehouse waiting. Thanks for info.
  2. And where ended this parts? I need 8659.77 antenna plastic elipsoide base of telescope exit on rear right fender for Peugeot 505 models '89 on.
  3. But still on wavetrack something what is locking the diff have to be some friction, I don't see well on their website animation but the green ring is pushing something for friction.
  4. Do you know who was OEM of torsen for diff P-505, P-405? Quaife is aftermarket but is it better of OEM, is it much robust then OEM or it is the same quality, is it better to get one original of Peugeot diff or to buy new Quaife? What would you do if you don't care about the money?
  5. But still torsen isn't so popular in automotive industry as it should be! I beleave on LSD after some locking times on 505 the locking cone become wear and on torsen nothing is wearing and this is the advantage.
  6. So that means that slippery wheels on snow or ice we can consider enough of load not to lose the drive? Only if the wheel in air is then we will lose the drive?
  7. Look what i found on Torsen disadvantage (I can't copy/paste link): "A torsen diff only distributes torque when it's under load. "
  8. What are exactly negative features of Torsen differential, why whole automotive industry doesn't instal Torsen instead LSD? I can't find nothing on internet about negative Torsen features.
  9. I have never heard that someone had destruction on welded rim at high speed lets say 250-300km/h, never! Just give me some example and proof and I am not going to weld my rims to 16". I am just hearing rumours, it could hapen this and that... but no proof or example. Proof First!
  10. I have also set of 390mm wheels on the garret but for P-604 which fit to P-505 and the tires are to expensive. I will go to the workshop where they repair damaged rims and do the aluminum welding and tell them to weld 8 milimeters more of aluminum material, machining them and I will have 16" rims. It is much cheaper then buying every few years new set of expensive 390mm tires. I was thinking also to machine 390mm down to 15" but then the material would be weakened so that would be not good solution, so it is better to weld and go up or if you care to much for your money get 15" rims. P-505 Dangel 4x4 had 16" rims. BMW had till middle '90 on some models metric tires. They have the same problem.
  11. Just want to say that Mercedes W124 has the same antenna mast repleacement with code h04 also. I bought on german ebay for 30€ and it is identical with Peugeot 505.
  12. OK, thanks guys. What about models '89 on, anybody with this model?
  13. Thank you very, very much @andrethx, H 04 Whole ebay is full of Hirschmann repleacement masts for Mercedes and nothing for Peugeot. Now I am going to contat the seller and lets see what he can find. Thanks
  14. No one has original antenna in USA on the car!? You do not need to dismantle anything, you don't even need to open the car, just read the letter and two numbers on the top of the chrome cap on telescope. I can't paste picture link from the Internet on the forum, why?
  15. Regards, On 505 electric telescope antenna Hirschmann AUTA 6000EL F-161 looking for mast repleacement only. The problem is that Peugeot doesn't offer mast repleacement only, then entire device. I found the Hirschmann store who sales antenna repleacement masts for AUTA 6000EL but no F-161 on the list. The seller told me that he needs the mark which writes on the top of the telescope but my upper part of antenna is broken and missing. There were some modifications on Hirschmann antenna on models '89 on but I don't know are the telescope masts the same before and after '89. My model is '86. Can somebody tell me what mark does it write on the top of the telescope? Thank you.
  16. There is also nice 505 Danielson kit spoiler but not available any more. I can not link the picture so Google it. The spoiler is similar as on Audi 80 egg.
  17. I contacted the seller Dodge Callenger lip spoiler from the link and he answered: Hello, The dimensions are: Dimension from end to end:61" Dimension from hole to hole: 51 1/2" Since it was never tested on the Peugeot, it will probably require some modification to fit especially since it is a lip spoiler. 61"=154,9cm (155cm) 51 1/2"=129,5+1,27=130,77cm (131cm) According to his answer I'll have to grind it, but it is not a problem.

I dont know where are you from but in Europe it is not allowed to have exhaust pipe ends turned to the right side because of the pedestrians security. In Europe it is allowed to the left side, rear side, upside (trucks, bus) but not to right side. In USA/Canada is allowed to the right side.
  19. If it is too wide it is not a problem, you can always cut and grind ABS polymer until it fits. I am only worryed about longitudinal curve because the spoiler goes longitudinaly in "U" shape with center to rear side, it is not straight. The 505 has also the boot in "U" shape but I beleave not so much as Challengers spoiler, I don't know. The original 505 lip spoiler covers the nice curves above the rear lamps, visualy cuts rear lines, spoiler lines doesn't match with lamp surface, spoiler looks to low and to bossy to the rear side. With original 505 lip spoiler the car looks just a little bit longer and that is only preferment.
  20. What about new Dodge Challenger rear lip style spoiler, what dimensions are and it is a little bit round, would it fit on 505? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Challenger-rear-lip-Spoiler-2009-2010-2011-2012-2013-/350847976678?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ADodge%7CModel%3AChallenger&hash=item51b02b44e6&vxp=mtr
  21. The best version is 10 x 34. That means 34:10=3,4 turns from end to end. So, finaly from center to end is 3,4:2=1,7 turns. The worst version is on manual steering rack 7 x 34 because you need to make more turns with steering column for the same wheels angle. That means 34:7=4,9 turns from end to end. So, finaly from center to end is 4,9:2=2,4 turns. Somewhere between is turbo/V6 and older early conventional power steering racks (with high and made of steel pinion valve housing) version 9 x 34 . That means 34:9=3,7 turns from end to end. So, finaly from center to end is 3,7:2=1,9 turns.
  22. I'll post pictures tomorow. You're welcome.
  23. I have very disappointing information of turbo/V6 steering rack regardless variable or non variable power steering. I dissasemble steering rack of turbo model year '88 fitted with variable power steering and it has only 9 teeth! The teeth rack is the same as on models with 10 teeth, it has 34 teeth. So finaly; Manual steering rack has 7 x 34 teeth. Turbo/V6 hydraulic power assisted with or without variable power steering rack has 9 x 34 teeth. Conventional hydraulic power assisted steering rack early models (with high and steel pinion housing) has 9 x 34 teeth. Conventional hydraulic power assisted steering rack later models '84 on (with short aluminium pinion housing "Bendix") has 10 x 34 teeth.
  24. The both racks are from Peugeot 505 year '86. Manual steering rack 7 teeth pinion is from elementary GL model engine XN1A double carburettor (same XN6 engine only not injected) and power steering rack 10 teeth pinion is from SR model the same engine but with more equipment. Both racks has 34 teeth and are the same dimensions. Tie rods for models fitted with ABS/ALB are 4 centimeters longer because are fitted with different front suspension.
  25. @Bean, all racks has the same numbers of teeth and the teeth dimensions are the same regardless is it manual rack or PS rack. The difference is only that PS rack has pressed the big ring at the end of rack on passenger side where is bolted servo cylinder for assist. The differences are in aluminum steering housings. The more teeth pinion gear has the bigger diameter is and the pinion gear swivel has bigger distance from rack. Thats why the aluminum housings are different. All PS racks are the same (up to '84 (for pinion 9 teeth), after '84 (for pinion 10 teeth) even for some series turbo and V6 but not for all turbo and V6 series. I'll foto this racks and pinions after tomorow and show you what am I talking about.
