I'm guessing someone has the answer off the top of their head, but I'd have do dig up the manuals in my garage this weekend to answer. Stewart Posted July 9, 2014 Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 Sorry for the delay. It will be OK with 50 ft//lb, I recall 45 is the normal. Some pretty big cracking in the pre combustion chambers is quite OK, although the heads could also be cracked behind the exhaust port, giving us coolant leaks pushing into exhaust ports and also an over heating situation where cracked exhaust port would let exhaust into the coolant. It depends on how old/worn the head is. By that I mean, heat cycles. the XD2s cracked regularly in the bad old days. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
