Peugeottogo
Hi all, I have the U.S. spec. glass euro headlamp assemblies on my 89 505. After a few members have mentioned the amber bulbs for these light assemblies, and a few photos posted here and there, I decided to install some for myself. I located a pair of Bilux H4's 60/55 W amber bulbs. As we know, some of us run the higher wattages, but I have to admit, these amber bulbs change the characteristics of the entire front profile of the 505. Will try to find time to post some photos, or maybe I can get one of the many on lookers to send me a photo ! JD

Peugeottogo
Sorry for the delay in my response. The car has been sold to a buyer in Palo Alto. Here's a photo of the euro headlamps with the amber bulbs: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/peugeottogo/...scd.jpg&.src=ph Link to the bulbs, this guy has them posted every once and awhile: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...sZmistercitroen Happy motoring, Jeff

Peugeottogo
It was a cool car to own. I really don't know how many 1989 V6 versions remain alive, as we know the turbo models remaining are just a handful. Jeff
Guest broke
It's becoming harder and harder to fix them TURBOS........Not to mention parts.

Peugeottogo
Yep, sold the car last May. The only 505 that I've owned that could break traction with a automatic in second gear. He did tell that the police in town were giving him hell for the amber head lights. He told them to compare it to another 89 Peugeot to see if he wasn't compliant! (Good luck finding another 89 to look at!) They haven't bothered him since I last heard from him. I'm the only Peugeot guy on the Monterey Peninsula Jeff
norcal505
Haha. Well, I'm one of 10 guys in Alameda who has a Peugeot. Are you familiar with Alameda?? Well, the other guys who have 505's are; 1 guy who has 2 identical white 505 turbos (i'm guessing that they're 86 or 87's), 1 guy has a cream-colored 505 s diesel (probably 82' or 83'), 1 guy who has a grey 405 sedan, a white 505 Sti V6, and a silver 505 SW8 Turbo Wagon. There is also 1 guy who has a Blue 505 gl sedan (probably 84'). There are also 3 other guys who have 504's. They're all in O.k. condition, they're red, green ,and yellowish-grey.
