Mine actually Had surface cracks in the paint so I sanded them down and painted the glossy black on the turbo. I like the way it looks.

Try using a Terry cloth towel and some your cleaner and lots of elbow grease.

However I did see a sparkly red pontiac Aztec, do u remember those god forbid things? anyhow the owner tried to improve the appearance by taking it to one of those day paint places. Let's just say the quality of paint job made the surface of an orange seem super smooth. and the lisence plates read "vee JJ" really? That's taking the personalizing of your vehicle to a whole other level wouldn't u agree?

Thanks Rabin. Im in the process of getting some performance based tires 4 the STX. I thinking going to go with 205/55 in the front and 225/50 in the back. Ordered a sets of falkins. Good tire and good performance for the cost: 389.00 online for the set. My mom has a set on her bimmer 550 and she and pops love them handles well and vert quiet. p.s. I still plan in ordering the adpaters. Just need tires on the car so I cam drive it.

Does the STX and turbo share the same suspension springs? And I have read in a few threads that some people have put turbo diesel springs on their cars. Silly question but are those more stiffer. I want to lower my STX a bit and am looking for the best way to do this without changing the suspension geometry and handling of my car. I live the way my turbo handles. I feel like the STX is a bit softer in road mannerisms than the turbo. Or is it me?  What are you thoughts everyone?

I've heard that the v6 is an engine with long life if cared for well. my uncle had 289,000 on it with out any majors problems. That's what I'm hoping to get out of mine. It only has 43,000 miles on it

hey just curious, I'm wanting to put the lights of an 89 505 on my 88. Does anybody know if the connectors and dimensions are compatible? In other words, is the conversion interchangeable, swap and bolt and go?

I do love the sound of the turbo under the hood every time I accerate.

Well til recently all I've known is the turbo. And recently have had the glorious privilege if having both power plants and are throughly rewarded driving both. however the power range is much more consistent and quickly available from a dead stop. the v6 is smooth and very responsive.

No I have no idea where the moisture is getting in from. Obviously there is break in the seal somewhere I need to try and take apart the lens clean the back and try to refinish it. Just thought maybe someone on here has disasembled theirs And could give me some helpful tips.
