  1. Welcome NorPug! Your right Toni! I think the new Subaru WRX STi has a intercooler spray switch. Are ralley cars still using water injection? I think it's a great idea, but probably hard to tune / get just right.
  2. Thanks for all the great link Toni!!! I've added a few to our links database, and am working on a few updated sections of the site (one being photo galleries)..
  3. I believe this one from Lindsey racing is a 1.5:1 regulator. From what I hear, its a direct bolt on. http://www.lindseyracing.com/Merchant2/mer...44FUELREGULATOR ouch!
  4. Welcome Metako! We look forward to seeing your project!
  5. Are you talking about the Renault-Alpine GTA V6 Turbo? http://www.automobile-sportive.com/guide/alpine/gta.php Quite a let down on the power ratings.
  6. I've been talking to CATALIN505 via email and it sounds like he's got LOTS of 505 race car pictures. I've given him a FTP account on the 505turbo.com server so I'm hoping he will upload soon!!
  7. Here are the pictures CATALIN505 was trying to post. Merci CATALIN505!
  8. Thanks for the update V-M!! We look forward to hearing more about your project.
  9. CATALINN505 had some problems with the attached file format. I'm hoping i'll be getting them as e-mail attachments soon so I can post! ~webmaster
  10. I always thought the 45 second power burst in each gear was a bit odd. Maybe they figure you wont be in any gear longer then 45 seconds before hitting the rpm limiter. The variable A/R turbo charger is a work of art on that car too. I think they needed that on the N9TEA2
  11. I like the front bumper / air dam. It looks like something in between the 81-88 (lip) and the 89 (dam).
  12. The 505 does have exceptional braking! Here are some figures i've got together: Ferrari Enzo: 60-0 = 109ft BMW M3: 60-0 = 113ft 2006 Corvette: 60-0 = 115ft Peugeot 505: 60-0 = 126ft Mclaren F1: 60-0 = 127ft Acura NSX: 60-0 = 128ft It's honestly hard to believe. Someone should do some checks so we have some real world figures.
  13. Excellent to hear! The Re-Torque is done stone cold: 1 - Remove coolant expansion tank cap 2 - In the spiral pattern, loosen bolt 1 1/4 of a turn, then torque. When finished, move on to bolt 2 (and so on). 3 - Adjust valves 4 - Tighten expansion tank cap Finished!
  14. Maybe something like Copper Coat? Permatex Copper Coat Link I've used that stuff before on used N9T exhaust manifold gaskets before with great success..
  15. Great job on the research Bean! I look forward to seeing what you end up with.
  16. Thanks for the feedback guys! 505T: Definitely! I'm extremely pleased with the turnout so far. We still have more to add to the site so I'm hoping to see the numbers increase. This month has been our highest traffic month so far, over 100k hits! woo hoo!
  17. 2005 Peugeot 407 Prologue Peugeot has openly admitted that the production version of the 407 Coupe will be little changed from the concept car shown at the 2005 Geneva Show. The "Prologue" title is more fitting. The styling of the 407 Coupe Prologue borrows heavily from the 407 saloon and SW (estate), themselves no shrinking violets. The oversized headlights remain, along with the sharply sculpted bonnet, long front overhang and gaping-mouth grille. The Coupe's air intake is split in two and lined in chrome to give the Coupe a more upmarket appeal, and the front bumper also incorporates extra air vents ahead of the front wheelarches for a more aggressive appearance. The curving glasshouse is reminiscent of the successful Pininfarina-styled 406 Coupe, though Peugeot conducted the design of the 407 Coupe in-house. From some angles the Prologue has an American feel to it, which is enhanced by the long rear overhang and large polished alloy wheels. The interior is not what we would refer to as European-chic either, featuring aluminium with red leather on the cash and a black lacquer finish on the centre console. The instruments are also highly stylised, in the vein of the Aston Martin DB9's. We're not so sure that these details will make it to the showroom. What is certain for production is the 2.7-litre twin-turbo diesel V6 engine fitted to the concept car. This unit, developed in conjunction with Jaguar, pushes out more than 200bhp along with maximum torque of 325lb.ft. It is likely to be fitted to the top-of-the range 407 Coupes, possibly with a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle-shift controls. Other equipment likely to make its way onto the production car includes directional Xenon headlights, parking sensors, laminated side windows and a large 7-inch screen for satnav, etc. (source: link)
  18. Has anyone had any trouble connecting to http://www.505turbo.com lately? I think we may have been having some network issues, but I'd like to see if anyone has noticed anything. Thanks! ~webmaster
  19. Hey if you get on Toni let me know! The webmaster is a member of the forums here, but he/she doesn't speak any english, at all. I think the handle is laurent86. I tried to join again but the forum crashed my browser the last time I gave it a shot. ...Sure would like to see what they have to offer.
  20. To be honest, I don't remember. I believe i found them on one of the linked sites from club-peugeot505.com (and by surfing under google translation which doesn't work too well) http://translate.google.com/translate_t
  21. Thanks Laurant, I will send you a different e-mail address.
