86 505 S - XN1, BA7/5 manual

Series II 505 S acquired when I purchased my most recent turbo car. Lots of good interior bits in this one. Will be stripped and scrapped eventually. To my surprise I recently discovered that this car has what appears to be an XN1 engine, with dual downdraft Solex carburetors. Evidently an engine change was performed at some point!

You may notice that a lot of the windshields on these cars are smashed. A few years ago some young juvenile delinquent with too much time on his hands found his way onto this property and vandalized many of my cars. Quite a few of them were cracked anyway, but at least two of the smashed windshields were perfect. This makes me furious to this day, and I'd love to track down that punk and exact some sort of violent revenge on him. In the end we never did figure out his identity. Such is life.
