pug505usa
2 question in 1: Is there any advantages beside emission in maintaining the EGR system in a diesel engine? From my research online it does not seem so beside pollution. Second question is has anyone in this forum remove theirs? if so how? Not sure if the Peugeot Indenor is different or not... Thanks! tulaweb
I don't think there is any reason to keep it other than emissions, on the other hand no reason not to keep it other than if it is not working properly, or maybe just to clean up some space. In other words when it is working properly I don't think it hurts performance or anything as it only recirculated the exhaust at or near idle. Peugeottogo
Our project 505 TD is running no emission equipment. I've ran other 505 TD's we've had in the past without any ill issues. You can read the story on the latest 505 in the link on my signiture below
