Bean Posted April 24, 2006 Report Share Posted April 24, 2006 I picked it up this past weekend. It's a 1989 Kawasaki ZX-10 - and it's a bloody fast bike. I've been looking for a nice sport touring bike - and this one fits the bill nicely - with a nice heavy dose of SPORT! Factory ratings are 137 HP, but this bike has stage 3 dynojet carb kit and a carbon Fibre Vance & Hines full stainless system on it. I went on a ride with some modern machinery - and the old girl has no problems keeping up with all the current run bikes... My wheel project has been delayed - but I do have some liquid aluminium on the way to get the wheels to cosmetically match. Once that's done I'll focus on getting them to fit the car!
