billbranch Posted April 17, 2013 Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 Hi, Everybody, Boy do I need help. I did read the tutorial on 505 HVAC in the literature. I have intermittent heat. It was constant, of course, until I installed the new valve. Now it has a mind of its own. I did check two of the sensors, not the cabin yet and where is the outside air?The article says it's under the cowl. I took off the black plastic covering the wiper motors etc and looked in the hole with the flap leading to the fan. The AC cycles on when ECO is out, but I do not hear any doors or flaps opening and shutting. I changed the control (with the sliders) with a known good one, and the unit is getting vacuum. Bean Posted April 19, 2013 Report Share Posted April 19, 2013 What does your engine temp needle do during all this? And did you follow Koll's excellent guide on bleeding air out of the system?
