Jesper
Im rebuilding my Saab 9-3 4wd to Rwd and im thinking of let the Peugeot diff stay (got 3 of those toatally newnuild and new/harder packed). Think they comes from 87 or 89, i have no idea to be honest. Best regards: Jesper
Bean
Hi Jesper, Nobody really knows what the power limit of these differentials is because no one has ever really pushed the power potential for one of these cars. The biggest weakness that shows up long before the diff is the splines on the driveshaft. If it helps - the SuperProduction cars, and even the WRC Citroen BX-16 (?) used the same diff - but what modifications were done if any I have no idea. Your project sounds interesting - is the build posted anywhere? Rabin
Jesper
The diff looks kind of small so i think we will go with BMW M3 or something like that. Also very cheap to buy. Thanks Jesper
Bean
Are there any numbers off the new differentials you have? Toyota Supra rear diff's are very strong, come in 4.3 ratios, but also take the same ring and pinion as the trucks so cheap, stong, and available ratio upgrades. There's a BMW compact rally build where they went with the Supra diff instead of the BMW one... What kind of power do you think you will be making? And is this a drift or grip car build?
