Guest michael
Why Free? I wish I knew someone in California. Well, 1st I'm not a mechanic 2nd $1500. NEW TRANS. 500. USED TRANS. 500.? INSTALLATION 3RD WHEN IT'S FIXED WHERE CAN GET PARTS TO FIX IT AGAIN? FOR WHATEVER GOES WRONG 4TH WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT PUEGEOT ? WHEN YOU CAN'T GET PARTS EASILY? 5TH FREE, IF I SOLD IT TO SOME UNSUSPECTING PERSON THAT DIDN'T KNOW HOW 'RARE' PARTS ARE?> THEY JUST MIGHT BE A LITTLE 'VENGEFUL'... KINDA LIKE I WAS WHEN I PAID $500... FOR A HEADACHE. 6TH I'D RATHER MAKE SOMEBODY'S DAY THAN RUIN IT. ANY ADVICE WELCOME THANX, MICHAEL
august
405 parts aren't easy to come by when comparing to say honda, but they are definitley available. Disortex, Western Hemispheres, Dubarr, Brian Holm's Parts for peugeots, Sunset Coachmen, and madhu's new parts place in Houston texas (not sure of the name) will all carry a good supply of 405 parts (and parts info). Cerrone works on Peugeot's in Redwood city, but they are a little pricey.
norcal505
Damn are you kidding me?? Cerrone European on El Camino Real is one of the most expensive mechanics i've ever seen. My dad took my car there for about 20 years, until he found Sk Auto in Alameda, Ca. Jim Cerrone, my dad's old friend died 15 years ago. Now Cerrone's focuses on all the rich Jaguar, LandRover, Bentley, Rolls owners of the Peninsula in the Bay Area.
