  1. Your attachment thumbnail isn't working. Sounds like a decent old pug though. Good luck with the sale.
  2. Thanks for the information guys. If I end up doing a grease car kit it will be down the road awhile, but I think it would be worth it especially if I decided to do alot of cross country driving.
  3. Right now on ebay there is an 82' 505 with a greasecar conversion kit (Runs on veggie oil and diesel). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1982-Turbo-...1QQcmdZViewItem I researched the greasecar kit a little and it looks like a pretty interesting modification for a diesel powered car or truck. Even though the kit costs $800 I'm sure it would easily pay for itself after a couple months worth of fill ups. Has anyone else worked with or familar with the greasecar vegetable oil kit? I am contemplating getting one for my 83' turbo diesel. My main concern would be will this vegetable oil kit work well with some diesel enigine modifications? I imagine it would, but more information on the subject would be great. http://www.greasecar.com/
  4. Is there anywhere I can find a trailer hitch for my 83' 505 turbo diesel sedan? I would really like to get one so I could tow a motorcycle trailer. Any help or info is appreciated.
  5. Personally I like the 1977 604 V6 on ebay right now. Only 37k on the odometer, Its badass! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...me=STRK:MEWA:IT
  6. Looks good. You have some nice modifications going there.
  7. It looks like your passenger door is open in that second pic.
  8. Sounds like you have had some nice bikes. I have my eyes on a super clean 82' Yamaha Virago 750. It would look so sexy sitting next to my 82' Maxim 650.
  9. Damn. If I lived anywhere near California I would be all over that thing! I hope some one jumps on it. It would be sad to see a nice peugeot hitting the junk yard. Try ebay or autotrader, that also might generate more intrest and you might even make a couple bucks.
  10. Thats some very interesting information. I wonder if that 2.6L Diesel engine has the same bell housing as a XD2S as well? Too bad I have two XD2S sitting around already, last thing I need is another heavy object taking up more space. Good luck with the swap and importing of engine parts.

    Broke's 505

Looks pretty good. I like the older wheels. It needs a wash though!
  12. I would definetly take a close look at te distributor and the ignitior rotor. I had a nasty problem with a crapped out distributor on my old Saab 900 and my dad's jag had a similar problem in his XJS caused by a bad igniton rotor (it had a hair line crack in it).
  13. where did you find that? What toyota engine does it have? You can use just about any simple photo editor to resize pictures. If you want I can resize them and post them. Just email the phtots to [email protected]
  14. Why Free? I wish I knew someone in California.
  15. If you need help hosting photos you can use a variety of image hosting websites. Most of them are free too. I usually use cardomain for automotive stuff and Imageshack for everything else.
  16. 87' had like 140hp while the 88' had closer to 180, correct?
  17. I see quite a few older Volvo 240s on the road. Most are not in very good condition but they are still out there.
  18. The 505 does not stand up to rust to well. My peugeot saw a minimal amount of salt exposure and it was starting to get pretty bad. Luckily my dad lended his expertise and helped me fabricate new galvanized rocket panels and repair the rusted areas. I finished up by undercoating the wheel wells and the bottom of the car with some rustoleum rust preventive paint. So far it has been holding up very well, but it does not see salt exposure anymore. What engine does the GTI model have in it?
  19. I can't beleive how picky those guys are! You should tell them there a bunch of hairy, smelly, frogs. Most of us are Americans, we shouldn't have to abid with the rules and regulations. ( j.k. of course)
  20. I was searching today for 505 parts and came a cross this beauty! Looks pretty nice, the owner sounds like he as taken real good care of it. Too bad its an automatic has so many freakin miles. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the 2.8L V6 in the STX sedan the same engine used in a Delorean? Might be a good beater or a prospectful project car for any peugeot enthusist. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT (ha! Gotta love the stuffed lion toy....)
  21. Page looks great! Thanks for selecting me.
  22. Never seen one in the states.
  23. Awesome! I would love to have one. That would make a great Peugeot replacement for my wrangler (although I like my wrangler).
  24. Wow thats a nice looking 505 GTi. Appears to be in really goos shape, you must take good care of it. I like the looks of the front and rear bumpers. The africa pictures are great.
