jerro Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 My 1986 Peugeot 2.5s TD auto-XD3T engine 100000 miles--new injector nozzles-air filter-Fuel filter-perfect interior- no rust-very good tires-service history-will need the hood touched up at some point.She doesn`t need emmission testing here in Seattle WA anymore owing to her age. I have posted several posts here on 505 turbo about her smoky `1st start of the day` but runs beautifully for all the start ups or travel thereafter. I have had various helpful suggestions boiling down to `get the injector pump timing set` which i am going to do shortly as it is a newer pump. If she doesn`t smoke on first start of the day after that i will probably keep her. Yes you can get parts! at least here in WA you can. I don`t know if we are allowed to just ask for offers on 505Turbo but correct me if i`m wrong. In the car prices book here Peugeot isn`t even listed! $1800? - Enough said! Update--###--Got the timing advanced a little at our local diesel Peugeot shop--Guess what?--No more smoke on first start of the day!!
