Guest the505inme
Well, as I'm taking the intake apart, there is LOTS of oil hanging around. I know my motor with 250 k has some blow by, and I'm wanting to vent it out to atmosphere, instead of having it gum up the works. What have others in the group done?? august
Trevor made a really sweet PCV canister with some jb weld and creative thinking .. I imagine he has some pictures somewhere.. also, is the metal screen / mesh still in the top of the valve cover gasket?

Guest the505inme
I have no such screen/ mesh in my valve cover. Is it supposed to be in that shelf area right under the oil filler? Trevor
Ya that's where it's supposed to be. There's supposed to be some steel wool (but much thicker wire and more sparse) in that little shelf under the oil filler cap. I dont know how big of a diff it would make. I have it and i still get plenty of oil out of that breather.
