Sedan Rain Gutters/trims

Recommended Posts

Well, you guys must all know how our 505's have those trim strips (mostly chrome on cars), that run along side the cars, above the doors. For the past few years, all the chrome has been flaking of my mine, and now a whole part of the strip on the driver's side has come off.

like literally broken off.

Don't know if I should just take both the complete gutters off, it might look nicer.

Has anyone here done this?

I'm wondering if it ill effect the looks badly

Yep - do this on EVERY 505 I've ever had.

It's just a painted gutter underneath and looks 200% better than the faded white plastic crap. I think it looks better than if it were chrome really - not into the bling...

The gutter rail moldings are still available... a little odd to ship, but still available...and not that expensive...

The car doesn't look bad without the plasti-chrome trim. I prefer the minor bling to the raw gutter. But the raw gutter is far better than dull, faded and broken plastic any day.
