89peugeotV6 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Share Posted June 17, 2008 I need a distibutor seal for my 505 V6 the peugeot guys around here cannot find anything. He even said he called Peugeot of America?!?!??! I told him I thought that they closed but he said he can still get ahold of them? The seal looks like a small axel seal. I'm hoping someone has an NOS one laying around. The regular parts store's were not able to match anything up. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bean Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 You should be able to call a bearing and transmission shop (yellow pages under bearings) and get it crossed with the numbers on it. If that fails - see if you can measure the ID and OD and the width of the seal and they might be able to match it with something close.
