  1. Thanks Rabin! I have not done much with the car, except I installed a new close ratio gearbox, and a 5,62 diff. But have problems with the engine, so I´m building a new engine, maybe a 12valve 2165cc engine. Bad Winter this year, no ice, no driving,
  2. Hi Someone who can help me, I want to know the thickness of the front sway bar on the 505 Turbo with Abs brakes it`s 27mm or 27,4mm?? I know that the 505 V6 with Abs is 27,4mm, and the 505 Turbo without Abs is 27mm. Bobby
  3. Hey, these exhaust is unfortunately sold out, I need one, anyone know where I can find a 4-1 pipes, For Douvrin (zdjl) Engine? Bobby
  4. Thanks for the reply Rabin, I looked at your Rallycross video it looked good! I think the regular 505 has 25% diff, it writes Danielson in their list of 1995cc and 2165cc, which I found today. I think I fit my diff from a 505 Gti with 2165cc engine, 25% is good enough, I think, if it is in good condition, the diff as I have i'nu comes from a 504 pick up, it works well. I'm thinking of installing the Torsen diff in my second diff, but do not know if you're going to have original Torsen or Quife, would be fun to try Torsen / Quife in 504 if that makes a difference in handling with a Torsen / Quife compared to regular lsd diff , if the car overrides less or more. Bobby
  5. Hi, I'm prepared to do a diff to my 504, I have for me to lsd diff on the 505 is 25% braking, is there any difference between a 505 turbo diff compared to a regular 505 in braking %? I have a 505 Turbo lsd diff, and a 505 Gti lsd diff, maybe better and fit gti diff in my 504 if there is any difference between them, thought gti diff has not run as hard, gti diff as I have, is 13000 mil cultivated. Bobby
  6. I found 5,625 diff in France, there is a better ratio than 4,875 for me. Will fit in a 5-speed gearbox in the car along with 5,625 final drive with Torsen or peugeot original LSD, but I think it will be a Torsen diff. Quaife diff is also an alternative maybe ...... Bobby
  7. Hi, I have now bought a 5.62 diff (8x45) that I should install in my 504, should probably buy a mi16 diff with Torsen, and assemble it with the 5.62 diff, I hope it will be fine handling with Torsen. Bobby
  8. Hi, I know that steering without servo 504 and 505, the ratio 22.2: 1 (4.5 turns) 505 and 504 with servo 17:1 (3.5 turns) 505 Turbo steering rack, 15,5:1 ? (2.9 turns) think this is the fastest available to 505, I have this in my 504, but would like to have an even faster 2.5 type turns should look perfect. Are there more types?
  9. Thanks for the reply Rabin, there is a movie on YouTube, but unfortunately the only page l can not go onto the Internet is this site, my antivirus system is blocking me, so have to go with my mobile phone. But the search for Peugeot 504 rally, the clip is 0,38 minutes and 0,43 minutes, posted by alfredsmamma. l'll try Torsen or Quife on my 504, you've convinced me! Rear cross member, l welded without removing the silentblock, very simple. /Bobby
  10. Thanks for the replies, l Will to buy a final drive (Torsen) from a 405 Mi16, assemble with the crownwheel and pinion from 504, it fits? I run mist of the car on ice, hoping Torsen works well on ice?? Quife sell diff to 505, what is the difference to 405 (505) Torsen? My car: 504 Diesel 1971 modell code A20. Has cage mounted in the car, plastic windows, battery in the rear, aluminium hood, the engine is back moved 5 inch for better weight distribution, rear springs from 505 Turbo somewhat shortened, rear crossmember welded instead of silentblock, rear swaybar from 604, Bilstein gasshock from Alfa Romeo, Rear wheels modified the Wide rear track 1425mm is almost the same as 505. Front: springs orginal cut (diesel), 604 lower control arms and 504 caster bars. New holes drilled för the struts, the more camber. Swaybar 505 Turbo, steering rack 2.9 turns 505 turbo, dual shock absorbes, no gas, no power steering, no braking power. /Bobby
  11. Hi, my first post herr, l have a Peugeot 504 with a 505 gti engine (zdjl engine) with dual weber dcoe, reground camchaft, headers, ported cylinder heads, Ba 10/4 gearbox, 4,875 (8x39) final drive with lsd. Is the Car better to drive with a Torsendiff instead of lsd?? Anyone know? I live in Sweden and there is no 505 with Torsen, bit are thinking of buying a Torsendiff from 405 mi16. /Bobby
