august
whoa! it'd be great to get some more details about it, did you call them peugeottogo? the only bummer is according to the VIN its an automatic
Peugeottogo
August, I didn't give them a call. Just to tempting, even to find out it's an automatic. Is this one of only 13 in the USA? My better half would have me shot, if this car showed up in front of my house on a transport. august
i forget the exact number, i think there were only 14 5 speed's in the US. auto's + manual's combined i think there were 40 (correct me if i'm wrong).
brownie
the only bummer is according to the VIN its an automatic Most american cars have automatic transmission, dont they? Here in Holland the automatic are more sought after and considered more luxourely. Less then 10 procent of the cars is an automatic. For new cars, an automatic is usually about 3000 euro more expensive than one with a manual gearbox, that's why you see them rarely. I'm very happy with my 505 automatic. Peugeottogo
Ok August, I had some spare time, I called the sales lot where it is located. Tony, the owner of the lot, originally sold Peugeots in the same area, and sold this car when it was new. It has had two owners, and the second one sold it to Tony this year. 93,000 original miles, clean car fax and service records. He will be sending me a full photo diary of the car over the weekend. Here is the kicker, he has stored many late model 505 parts, that he purchased when the dealership where had worked closed. He must have known that they would become of value later. I'll keep the group updated, Jeff
