yhzman Posted September 10, 2016 Report Share Posted September 10, 2016 Hi All, My brother and I just changed out the clutch/pressure plate/pilot bearing/throw out bearing on a 1986 505 Turbo. For the first 50 miles no issues, now my brother, who is driving the car, is experiencing a gentle "thumping" or "binding and releasing" at extremely low speeds (1-3 mph) in either forward or reverse. The noise appears to be coming from near the driver's seat, so somewhere in the transmission or driveshaft? Any thoughts on what might be going on here???
