pug505usa
A year ago about I found this white 88 Break Peugeot 505 GLS nearby my area... The salvage owner says it has been in here for at least 10 years or more... the tag is from Colorado last dated in 1996. Odometer read 135k. It is a 2.2liter... The wheels are gone and I bought the front end myself... Every time I go in there I wonder how much it would take to get it back on the road... the engine and trans are still there intact... The inside is all there too I take it it has not run in 18 years... There is no oil leak undernearth. Dip stick shows it has oil in it. I wonder if the Auto trans gave out and the owner gave up on it... Here is my question: let's admit the engine is fine indeed... can an engine that has not turned in 18 years still be good or brought back to life without a re-haul? Here is a couple of pic: Emmanuel
