nick@nite Posted September 14, 2010 Report Share Posted September 14, 2010 Don't know if everyone heard or seen this yet, but as of last Wedesday Travis supposedly broke Spongi's record but with no other competitors.... I'm a fan of VT Sports Car, Lance the owner hooks my father up with race equipment for STI's all the time for pennies of the orginal cost. but I'm not so much of a fan of Pastrana's with the limelight.... It's a new set time but not an offical Record with an actual hillclimb event with other racers... 2011 will hold another event there finally after a decade. My father went off when he raced the 505 there, took 3 hours of chainsaw lop job to get #45 out of the trees... Roger a tech here, also formula vee champion tried his first hillclimb there in a caged MI-16 my father had and wrecked aswell.... This road is treturous, wayy worst than Pikes Peak.
