So, had to go out to Berkeley to run some stadium teams with my rowing team for training.

Park the car on this main street. First spot I see-parked next to this 85' 505 Wagon who did a HORRIBLE parking job, and had vintage french plates.

I go, manage to squeeze my car in, and next thing I know..

this old brotha comes out, telling me "ya know, normally I'd be angry if someone park this close to me, but its "aight" wiff me since its a peugeot". This dude was literally one of those old black p-funk looking dudes, and I was crackin up. We had the typical peugeot owner chat "where do you get it fixed, etc..." Told him I better get goin, so I went off.

90 minutes later. Me and a friend go back down to the street to put some more money in our meters.

Bam. Crossing the street, is see this young chick in a *mint* dark blue 505 Turbo wagon.

She rolled past me, I gave the thumbs up, and ran back up to the track.

Funny day. Two peugeots-other than mine, same intersection, between an hour and half.

I love living in the bay area.

I always manage to get stopped by immigrants from the french speaking african countries "aye where d'ja get dat Peugeot man" even though Honda and Toyota have taken over there now I guess there is quite the soft spot for the cars still.
