1 B 505
Hi has anybody seen or heard about this problem before? I have a 1989 505 Turbo automatic and in the morning when the car is cold it starts right away but if driven will not shift upwards out of the 1st gear at any RPM. However, after running idle for 5-10 minutes, it will work fine and go through all gears without a problem. So, all it takes is an idle run for 5-10 minutes and then the car is fine... Any thoughts? Thanks.

I verified fluid level and it seems to be overfilled, do you think that this is causing the failure? Do you have any clue what to do? Transmission was working smoothly before ATF lines replacement. Transmission is ZF 4HP22 4 speed. Thank you. Ben
