Toni Lindroos
That Polish guy really needs that part and he can't find it anywhere. I've seen him asking for it in different forums and mailing lists. This is his message in the Indonesian 505 list: > -----Original Message-----> From: £ukasz Oprawski [mailto:lukasz.oprawski[at]wp.pl] > Sent: Sunday, July 24, 2005 5:15 AM > To: > Subject: problem with my 505 > > hello > > I'm Lukas from Poland > I'm sorry for my english language, I have many errors > > actually I have a very big problem with my Peugeot 505 with one spare > part; its a piece of metal which is broken; the name of this part is > FLEX PLATE; this part working only in Peugeot 505 with automatic gear > box and is very unique - only with the ZF 4hp22 and diesel engine; I > sending to you a picture of that part; > > I can't buy it in Poland! nowhere! > could you help me? > > my Peugeot 505 - 2.5 turbo diesel intercooler 1988 > gear box - ZF 4hp22 > > best wishes > Lukas Oprawski > Poland, Warsaw I remember that there were some talk in the Peugeot-L list about that flex plate get broken often, IIRC. august
there weren't many turbo diesel's sold in the US after 1985. I've only seen a few 86's, and i think they are the only ones with the ZF4HP22. PRE 85 was all 3HP22's if i remember right eh? you could try emailing [email protected] to see if they have any in stock. Peugeottogo
Your right August. The only ZF4HP22 coupled to the 2.5 liter diesel, was in 1986 in the USA market. And that number is small. The only other person that may have one laying around, is Greg at Rhino Motors in Seattle. Jeff
