I sent all my bits and pieces left over from my 405S and MI 16 to Joe Popielarczyk in Buffalo a member on this site. He should be getting them soon and will want to get rid of some of the parts as he has an MI 16.

Damn - I comb the adjacent for sale sites for Peugeot pretty regularly and surprised an Mi-16 so close would have escaped me! Between myself and friends mining for cool cars - It's pretty rare for one to pop up for sale without getting a heads up. I'd be seriously tempted if I every came across a CDN spec Mi-16 in nice shape. Well it was more like 12 yrs ago. It was A Vancouver car and no rust in excellent shape and 5sp.

Joe, This is my MI 16 which I sold a few years ago. I loved the car (had a 405S before that) but it was totally unreliable in the cold weather we get in Calgary. Anything above minus 15 C was great. At minus 15 the fuel lines froze up and the complex fumes recircultation system would freeze up and blow all the oil out of the dip stick hole. the French did not do enough testing in cold weather. Otherwise I loved the car. So I have a few odds and ends in parts that I need to get rid of. Wondering if you might be interested. We would have to confirm that they are for the MI and not the 405S. Let me know what you think. I love your MI 16 project - looks like it was in very good shape. Jim
