1981 Peugeot 505 Turbo Diesel: Sad Day , I have to sell my Peugeot. It has a rebuilt motor and rebuilt automatic transmission, brand new tires, glass is all good. lots of extra parts. I was running then I overheated it and warped the head. I got the head milled down and put a new head gasket on and she is still missing pressure in one cylinder. So she pretty much needs a new head. The paint is fading a little , she could definitely use a paint job. I am trying to move into the woods so I cant be lugging her around.. I'm Located in Boise Idaho. I'm not really sure what it's worth.

Hello! I've had a 1981 Peugeot 505 Turbo-diesel for over 2 years now and its time to get her up and running. I was originally GIVEN the car, as I called a gentleman off craigslist and he decided that its what his dad would want. (his dad had passed away and this was his baby). The engine had been rebuilt, the transmission rebuilt and brand new tires were on here. I drove her to college for about 2 weeks then she overheated while i was stuck on the highway. After that she started spewing coolant from the exhaust and I assumed that the aluminum head had warped. Sure enough, I took the head into the shop and it was warped so I got her milled down for 250 bucks. I got a new head gasket, which matched the notches of the old one, and I installed the head according to spec and did a compression test. All cylinders are around 310 psi except for one(the cylinder closest to the rear), which is at 200. So now I am taking off the head again on going to get it pressure tested, though im pretty sure its going to be bad, since I saw cracks on the bottom of the head that has been repaired in the past. Basically I need a good head for her. The XD2 head. If anybody has one or knows of any leads, it would be greatly appreciated.
