Johnny
Does anyone of you know the procedure for adjusting the throttle plate? I have read it on the peugeot-list but I can't seem to find it again.
august
Does anyone of you know the procedure for adjusting the throttle plate? I have read it on the peugeot-list but I can't seem to find it again. There's a 'do not tamper' plug on the other side of the threaded stop on the throttle body (believe it or not). Drill that out, and try to get the threaded rod out of there. I haven't had much luck with this, and usually have to drill it out. Once its out, and you have a new sweet adjustable stop in there, coat it with loctite, and put it all back together. Screw the idle air bypass all the way in Adjust the idle to 650rpm using the new throttle plate stop screw Once that's done, adjust the idle to 900 with the idle air bypass screw (or 950 for an automatic). Readjust the microswitch and TPS after you've done this
Johnny
Thank you August! EDIT: Btw, I don't need to get that 'do not tamper'-plug out because I have a throttle-body from a N9TE-engine, and they don't have it.
