for sale Posted April 26, 2023 Report Share Posted April 26, 2023 CL eugene > for sale > cars & trucks - by owner post account ◀ prev ▲ next ▶ favorite hide ⚐ flag share Posted about 23 hours ago print 1984 505 peugeot/1985 505 wagons - $1,000 (eugene) © craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap 1984 1984 peugeot 505 cylinders: 4 cylindersdrive: rwdfuel: gasodometer: 250000paint color: bluetitle status: salvagetransmission: manualtype: wagon i am selling my last two peugeots. neither is running at the moment. both bodies are straight, but the 84 has some rust spots. it has a two liter gas engine 5 speed transmission. the engine hasn't run in a year but there was water traces in the oil. there is a new clutch installed 2 years ago. the rear doors don't open, but the hatchback does. the rear axle seals are both good. it has crank windows. the starter and alternator are good. the heater worked up to position 3 of 4 positions on the fan. the transmission is good. the passenger side rear view mirror is off, but i have one and the parts to reconnect it once the old base plate is removed. all the windows are in tact, but there is water at the base of the front door open. the tail lights are unbroken, the interior front seats are well worn. the rear brake pads have little wear, and the front discs are fine.the body is straight..see pics. this is a salvage vehicle... towable (can be delivered within 100 miles for a fee) but not running. there is a towing ball harness securely attached to the frame and this is the 3rd rig i have had it on and it works well, tho it is low to most trailers. i have many parts, inc. a spare transmission attached to the bell housing, extra drive-line, new ignition switch with 2 keys, and more...in fact... there is a second vehicle...1985 peugeot wagon, 2 liter gas engine with a 5 speed transmission (good trans and clutch/pressure plate). parked for 4 years but with a very straight body and an excellent rebuilt engine with about 100,000 on it(i have driven that car across the country and back and parked it because the electric window became a major problem and the heater stopped working and so did the doors, so i opted to use the one with less issues) but i have removed parts of the heater, and the alternator and starter motor. rear axle seals leak and the rear axles have been removed but i can resecure them for transport, only the driver's door works and that interior door panel has been removed to facilitate opening...if you know these rigs you know the problems with the handles... but the windows are all good...it's the motors that are bad. there is air conditioning in the rig. this vehicle can also be delivered within 100 miles for a fee. the interior is very rough now as i have salvaged parts off it.and the spare parts are inside. i have pictures of this rig, it is black, but it is from when it was running, and serious buyers can ask for them. it has had a tarp over it since i parked it. barry wolff [email protected] do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers post id: 7614292070 posted: about 23 hours ago updated: about 19 hours ago ♥ best of [?] safety tips prohibited items product recalls avoiding scams Avoid scams, deal locally Beware wiring (e.g. Western Union), cashier checks, money orders, shipping. © 2023 craigslist help safety privacy feedback terms about craigslist app cl is hiring Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
