JGood29
I have 2 diesel sedans that I am combining: one 1981, the other 1985. The 1985 I drove for a long time, after driving a 1984 for a long time, but the body rust is getting pretty bad. The 1981 body is real good, so I'm improving it with 1985 parts. I have been told that the '85 suspension was much improved, which would align with my experience with the '84 which needed constant attention to ball joints and bushings, whereas the '85 never had problems with the front end. Does anyone have information, experience or opinions about this? How feasible is this swap, and is it best to swap the whole front end?
