Thanks to the guy at the windshield repair shop who snapped on the handbrake in the 405S and broke that black segmented blanking strip where the handbrake lever exits the console. I need the part he broke. New or used. Just something viable. And thanks again to the massive moron who threw away my "metal" 505 front windshield trim. I'll need at least the bottom pieces and corners so I may return to that windshield shop and get another new windshield. Thanks to all! ahing6 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Share Posted January 11, 2015 I feel your pain....last Sept i changed my windshield on 405SRi and one guys at shop sliced off top right corner curve of dash with long fillet blade while slicing off old seal. Told him don't worry i'll sort it out. When i returned rest room, he tried sticking it back on with super glue.....now can see stupid gap !!
